What is the best example code for implicit I/O communication on Ethernet/IP?

    Good day sir,

    (1) I would definitely start out with the speed_example application as it exchanges two bytes in each direction.

    (2) Yes, process data corresponds to the EtherNet/IP terminology "implicit I/O data".  When configuring an EtherNet/IP Scanner (the network master) you may also encounter the terms "exclusive owner" or "Class 1 connection".  This is want you want.

    If you need a PC based EtherNet/IP master simulator, I can recommend the open source EtherNet/IP ExplorerHere is a KB article including a short video on how to configure it for an implicit data connection.
