A video is presented on how the open source EtherNet/IP™ master simulator software Ethernet/IP Explorer should be configured for an exchange of process data. More specifically, a Class 1 connection is established to an Anybus Communicator.
APPLICABLE PRODUCTS
- ABC3007 Anybus Communicator - EtherNet/IP Adapter
or - ABC3090 Anybus Communicator - Common Ethernet with EtherNet/IP firmware loaded
PRE-REQUISITES
Connect the Anybus Communicator Ethernet config port X1 and download a configuration of 8 input and 4 output bytes of process data. Connect the EtherNet/IP port X2.1 or X2.2 to your PC, as well.
