ABC4091 - Siemens S7-300 [profibus] with S7-1200 [profinet]

Hi everyone,

I have network Profinet [S7-1200] with Profibus [S7-300], so i use ABC4091 for exchange data
For profinet side it works fine, i can send data and can monitored from IO diagnostic on ABC4091 and when i monitored it at profibus line use proficore it have the value in the message
The problem is i can't read or write data from S7-300,
i use HMSA183B.GSD inside S7-300,
plc can detect device, and parameter or configuration working fine [no error]
but when i try monitoring the IO from ABC4091 it no show any data
Do you guys have any recommendation what i must do, or do you guys have any example program for it?

  Hello,

  I apologize for the late reply.

  Since you don't have a config or param error on the PROFIBUS side, my best guess is that you might have assigned GSD module addresses too high to still lie within the PLC's process image.  This is a typical S7-300 peculiarity in that address ranges above a certain threshold must be addressed differently from within your PLC program (periphery instead of process image).

  So try to attribute PLC addresses as low as possible and see if you'll be able to exchange data with the Anybus gateway.
