Can not establish Profinet connection - ABC3213-A

I started a support ticket this morning but I have not heard anything back from HMS yet.   I'm a seasoned Siemens PLC integrator and I have established more than a few Profinet connections in the past but this one has me stumped.   I configured the gateway through the web portal no problem.   I then add it to my project in TIA with the GSD file in the firmware folder.   I added the input module I need and downloaded the configuration to the PLC.   I then assigned the profnet name to the gateway through TIA.    I tried this many times but the red profinet led on the gateway is never happy and TIA shown no connection to the device in on-line monitoring.   Has anyone out there experienced issues connecting through Profinet?   What am I missing?
