New version of KB-0042 "How to migrate an eWON from one Talk2M account to another?"
Is there a newer version of this guide ?
If not, does anyone know if the FTP transfer technique still works?

There is not because they have added security features that now make this impossible. You need to delete a device from an account before you can add it to another account.
It is possible to import Talk2M Free accounts into Talk2M Pro or Light accounts though. You will find the feature in Ecatcher under the Accounts tab in Advanced Settings. This will import all the Ewons registered to that account, however. There is no way to import a single Ewon.

Kyle Reynolds Reynolds Thank you, much appreciated. As you can imagine, a smooth transfer would be a great feature to advertise to our customers since we are typically involved in system design & commissioning, but not ongoing operation, but I realize that device security is far more critical!
Could I create a user group with limited permissions to only view & use 1 Ewon device in our fleet/pool, then add my customer to that group only? I think I tried this long ago, & vaguely recall that all users could always see all devices per account...0 -
Yes, with Talk2M Pro, you can create a group with limited permissions. See the Pools and Groups section in the Ecatcher help here: Pools
Only admins should be able to see all the Ewons.
