    Sorry for the late reply.

    In general, it's not possible to specify or even guarantee wireless signals reaching certain ranges, since it depends on so many factors.

    Distance certainly affects the data rate because of free-space-path-loss, attenuation and dynamic rate switching.  This means you can have long range for the price of lower data rates.

    The antennas in the Bolt II are indeed omnidirectional, so the mounting angle is not of primary importance.
