AB7318

I Have interfaced an AB7318 with a compactlogix PLC and worked through the issues I encountered but cannot seem to find a solution to the tags remaining high after message has stopped communicating

I am communicating with a device.

I activate a test cycle and monitor messages for a response whether it be a fault or a status update.

The issue i am trying to resolve is I receive an update from the device on message 1234

this message only sends a status then stops. and sends no further update. that update is stored in the Anybus module and keeps the associated tags in the PLC active/High.

If i resend the configuration to the anybus gateway the tags reset. My question or query is if there is any way i can do this from the P{Lc or time within the module i can use to reset the message values

If you set Offline Options to "Clear Data" it will clear the data when connection goes offline. Other than this, you would have to resend the data in order to change it.

Please note that you would also need to set an offline timeout setting in ms.
