Cosy+ TCP block

Hi,

Is it possible to enforce complete communication using UDP, bypassing the initial TCP connection (during eWon startup) that retrieves the end-point list? My firewall blocks TCP/HTTPS connections.

  I don't think this is possible with the Cosy+, but you can try to force UDP and set to VPN servers manually by setting: 

  VPNProto=0 (default setting)

  VPNPortOut=1194 (default setting)

  VPNSrvAddrMode=0

  Then set VPNSrv1 and VPNSrv2 to servers from this list:

  Endpoints for Ewon Devices

  Keep in mind that this is not recommended because the domain or IP address could change. 

  The above settings can be found in the comcfg.txt (Setup > System > Storage > Edit COM cfg)

  I tried these settings, unfortunately they don't work. There is still an attempt to download the endpoint list at startup. Do any other device models support this functionality?

  Yes, you can manually set the VPN server and bypass the Access Server this way with the Flexy 205.
