Talk2M Setup error
Hello,
I've been trying to setup a Cosy 131 for a couple days and have been having issues.
I followed the quick setup guide through accessing eWon in browser and running the setup wizards. I got through system and internet, but got an error on Talk2M. Initially I found that the serial for my eWon was already registered to another account, so I got the unlock key from HMS and ran that and got all the way through the wizard.
When I tried to run the wizard again using the activation key provided by eCatcher software, I am getting a error in the wizard during the "Read Talk2M Config" section. The error that comes up changes between "Server internal error" or "System exec error".
I have confirmed ports 443 and 1194 are open to www.talk2m.com by going to CMD window and typing "telnet www.talk2m.com 443" and was sucessfully connected.
Any other ideas of what I might try to fix this error?
Thanks,
Dylan

Update: I believe my issue is coming from a compatibility issue with eCatcher and Telnet. I get the following in the eCatcher logs after I try to run the Talk2M VPN wizard.
2024-04-06 14:29:11.428[DEBUG][telnet-01311630] service - telnet Request = version
2024-04-06 14:29:11.428[DEBUG][telnet-01311630] service - telnet Response = IMPLEMENTATION:7.0.1.0 COMPATIBILITY:6.5
2024-04-06 14:29:11.432[DEBUG][telnet-01311630] service - telnet Request = shutdownAny ideas?

It sounds like a temporary issue communicating with the server. Since the Wizard completed unlock key, it should work with a new key. Can you try running the Wizard again with the new key?

Hi Kyle,
I've tried running the wizard again about 50 times now trying every different configuration I could think of. I've tried all the port forwarding and addrresses I can think of. I've tried to download older version of eCatcher and done a level 2 reset on the eWon, but nothing is going through. Keep getting same compatibility error.

Hi Dylan,
It's not an error.
We need to get backup of the Ewon with the support files and also have you run the T2M Connection Checker and send the logs. I will create a support case so you can send us those.
