Cosy+ access to WAN device from LAN

If you want the traffic to be able to go from the WAN to the LAN, you will need to use NAT 1:1 or port forwarding. See: How to enable NAT 1:1 on Ewon Cosy (page 4)

It looks like you have configured it to go from LAN to WAN already, but you also must remember to set the default gateway in the LAN device to be the IP address of the Ewon's LAN. You also must reboot the Ewon in order for the changes to NATitf to take effect.

    Thank you for your reply.

At the moment I have my laptop connected to the LAN side of the ewon with IP 192.168.169.222/24 and the default gateway is already set on ewon lan address (192.168.169.53).

I have reboot the Cosy several times but still I cannot ping the device on LAN (i'm trying to ping the adress 192.168.169.253 in order to reach the device 10.0.0.53).

It sounds like you are doing this backwards. NAT 1:1 assigns a WAN address to make the LAN device available on the WAN network.

Usually I use NAT 1:1 in the way you described and works without any problem.

This time I need NAT 1:1 going in both direction. Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible, but you have to set up both NAT 1:1 and NAT on WAN (NATitf = 2) properly.

If you continue to have problems, I recommend creating a support ticket and sending them the Backup with Support Files.

I'm not able to make it work. I will try as you suggested and open a support ticket.

    Thank you for your help
