Anybus Wireless Bolt LTE vs IoT - selecting
Hello, I am working to determine which of these two items to get for my application. We are planning to use the Bolt as a cellular modem interface for a COSY 131, to allow us to use a Verizon 4G LTE SIM card in the USA. As we have unfortunately found the COSY 131 4G NA does not support Verizon in the USA.
Anyway, I see there are two Bolt models to select from, and while the IoT model shows it has more 4G bands available, is that what I truly need here? I don't want to buy something I don't need. I am not using any Cloud features, i.e. not dumping data to Azure or anything like that. From my perspective, the LTE version appears to suffice and I see in the firmware notes that it is Verizon approved. Is there any criteria that would help steer me to one or the other?
Please advise, thank you.

Hi Philip,
For providing Internet access to an Ewon, I would definitely recommend the Bolt LTE. The Bolt IoT is intended for lower bandwidth applications while the Bolt LTE supports speeds of up 100mbps down and 50mbps up.

Ok! That absolutely answers the question, and clarifies to me which product to select. Thank you.
