Ewon Flexy 205 subnet mask conflicting with proxy server
Hi,
We have connected numerous Ewon Flexy 205 to machines over the last few years with very few issues. Only today I have come across an issue that I am unsure of how to resolve.
The setup is as follows:
WAN IP address: 10.2.1.141 subnet mask: 255.255.128.0
Proxy: 192.168.250.16 Port 8080
LAN IP address: 192.168.0.10 subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Devices on the LAN have IP addresses 192.168.0.x and 192.168.200.x
When I change the subnet mask from 255.255.255.0 to the required 255.255.0.0 I receive a proxy server error and we loose VPN and internet connection.
It seems that there is an IP conflict between the LAN and the WAN but I do not know how to avoid this.
Does anybody know how I configure the Ewon's to handle this?
Many Thanks
Shaun

You can't configure the Ewon to handle this because it is a routing problem. You would have the same problem with any router. I can't think of a way to accommodate these 3 addresses into 2 different subnets like you want to. I think you are going to have to either change the Proxy address or the address of the devices using 192.168.200.x.
