Ewon Flexy 205 connect to WIFI

Hello there

Is it possible to use the wifi extension card for the flexy205 to connect to with different devices? i.e. can an ewon have an own SSID I could connect to with my smartphone or laptop for example?

We only use it to connect to a different WIFI in order to use the gateway there to connect to talk2m.

  The WiFi Extension card is for the Flexy's WAN connection to get internet so it would be connecting to either a hot spot or an existing network. If you are trying to access the flexy or land devices you would need an access point on the LAN side of the Flexy. We can do this with an anybus bolt.

  Thank you for the fast reply.

  Good to know that it is possible, but therefore additional hardware is required.
  My question was whether it is possible to use the flexy's WIFI extension card (FLB3271) as an access point.

  The WiFi extension card cannot be used as an access point. It only connects to other access points for its own internet connection.
