ISSUE
After sending the configuration to the gateway from Intesis MAPS, the gateway is no longer accessible via Ethernet.
ANSWER
- Check if you have entered a value in the Default Gateway option from the Configuration tab. If so, make sure that the value you typed is actually the IP address of a gateway with routing capabilities (e.g., a router). If it is not, leave the option blank.
- To establish a connection with the gateway again:
- If the gateway features a USB port, use it to connect the gateway to the computer.
- If the gateway does not feature a USB port, perform a factory reset (see ADDITIONAL INFO below).
- Send the configuration to the gateway again with the correct default gateway IP value or leaving that option blank.
NOTE: "Default gateway" is a networking concept not related to the Intesis gateway. It refers to the IP address of the device (usually a router) that serves as the access point for sending data from the local network to other networks, including the Internet. Therefore, this field only needs to be filled in if the Intesis gateway is connected outside the local network.
