Stay secure with firmware updates
Keeping your Ewon device firmware up to date is essential for maintaining the security, reliability, and performance of your system.
Firmware updates address potential security vulnerabilities, ensure compatibility and optimal operation with the Talk2m platform, and provide access to the latest features and improvements.
Regularly updating your device helps protect your data, maintain stable connectivity, and take full advantage of Ewon’s ongoing enhancements.
How to check Ewon model and firmware version
You can easily keep all your Ewon devices up to date using the Talk2m Firmware Management feature in Ecatcher.
With the Firmware Management feature, account administrators can view:
- The list of connected Ewon devices
- The serial number of each device
- The model of each device
- The installed firmware version on each device
- Information about the latest stable version or available security patch (if the device is not running the latest version)
Note: The Firmware Management feature is available only with Talk2m Pro and Light plans. It is not included in the Talk2m Free version. However, in the Free version you can still display the “Serial Number” and “Firmware” columns in the Ewon list to identify each device’s model and installed firmware version.
