I can SCAN and read Midea AC units but I can't control them.

ISSUE

When scanning the Midea bus, the AC units can be found and read, but every command sent to the unit is reverted.

POSSIBLE CAUSES

There's an XYE Extension Kit and a central controller in the system. The central controller is connected to the CTR1 connector, and the Intesis gateway is connected to the CTR2 connector of the XYE Extension Kit.

SOLUTION

Disconnect the gateway from the CTR2 connector and connect it to the ODU connector (see the image):
Make sure that there are end-of-line (EOL) resistors on the XYE bus (120-ohm resistor on the first and last device).

The Intesis gateway features a built-in resistor that can be enabled using the DIP switch SW B, position 1.
