What are the limits of the Talk2m free plan? |

Talk2m free is our most basic plan. It lets you register an unlimited number of devices and users, but allows only one VPN connection at a time. It also sets traffic limits, i.e. max. 3GB VPN traffic/month and max. 5 million datapoints/month. Once this limit is exceeded, the account is capped until the end of the month. The main limitation of Talk2m free is that it is linked to the registration of at least one new Ewon device every 12 months in Ecatcher (*). When 12 months have passed since your last Ewon device was registered, your access to Talk2m free is suspended. You must then register a new Ewon device in Ecatcher or take out a Talk2m light or Talk2m pro subscription to unlock your account. Emails are sent from 3 months before the account suspension. It's not possible to exceed the limits imposed in the Talk2m free plan. This allows a VPN traffic usage of 3 GB per month and an upload of 5 million datapoints per month to the Talk2m datamailbox. Once these limits have been reached, the account is capped until the end of the current month. This means that the following actions are no longer possible:
An Email and Ecatcher banner notification is sent to all Talk2m account administrators when the account reaches 80% and 100% of the limit (VPN usage or datamailbox usage). To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend that you monitor your VPN traffic and data usage. You’ll find helpful information on how to do so in this FAQ. You can only benefit from the 3-month free trial once. If you've already taken advantage of this benefit in the past, you'll go straight to the paid version. |
