QUESTION / SYMPTOM
How to configure the signal list from a Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP router?
POSSIBLE ANSWER
In this case, all you have to do is set up the RTU/TCP side via MAPS. As this is a transparent gateway. This means you address the gateway via TCP with the commands you wish to send to the RTU device. Our gateway then deletes or adds the Modbus TCP header to "translate" from Modbus TCP to RTU and vice versa.
Once the Modbus RTU configuration has been made, with the parameters corresponding to those of the slave(s) (baud rates, data type...), its registers are transparently accessible to the Modbus TCP BMS client.
Changes on the signal list are not necessary/possible here.
Nor is it possible to create or modify data points in the "Signals" menu.
