Can not establish Profinet connection - ABC3213-A

I started a support ticket this morning but I have not heard anything back from HMS yet.   I'm a seasoned Siemens PLC integrator and I have established more than a few Profinet connections in the past but this one has me stumped.   I configured the gateway through the web portal no problem.   I then add it to my project in TIA with the GSD file in the firmware folder.   I added the input module I need and downloaded the configuration to the PLC.   I then assigned the profnet name to the gateway through TIA.    I tried this many times but the red profinet led on the gateway is never happy and TIA shown no connection to the device in on-line monitoring.   Has anyone out there experienced issues connecting through Profinet?   What am I missing?

  Hi Peter

  I see my colleague local to you is working with you on this problem via our ticketing system.

  The advice with this gateway is to get the Modbus TCP Client reading the data first and then when the IO sizes are known the PROFINET configuration can be created to match those.

  Please continue to work with the support ticket to find the resolution - I see that you have some Modbus TCP data but it is not yet in the addresses you expect. Maybe you need to start reading at a different register starting address - I always suggest starting at least one register lower than documented if it is not clear whether the first register is 1 or 0. The Communicator does not adjust for "PLC numbering".
