One Ewon for multiple LAN
Hello,
I'm looking for solution to connect 1 Ewon device to multiple different LAN networks. On the LAN side I can use a managed switch or router. Maybe there is already a ready-made solution to buy (from HMS) that allows connection to several networks.
Regards.

Hi Leszek!
What is your intent with that?
The Ewon Solution (Cosy Flexy Netbiter) works best with only 1 LAN network...
but if you have a Flexy there are way's around that.
In the Flexy you need to go to the 'Routing' page and you can add up to 3 Routes.
Like that the Flexy itself can communicate with up to 3 LAN networks unfortunately that doesn't help if you want to do remote Access to devices on these Networks.
eCatcher only automaticaly adds 1 Route not several no matter what you configured in the Flexy.
If you know the command for Route Add on cmd you can do that manualy on your PC though... you need to look up the VPN IP the eCatcher Connection to your ewon has assigned to the ewon during the connection.
Like I said the solution is not really made for it but you can do it if you want...
What are you trying to do maybe a different Product also works? Do you need Remote Access or not? the Ewon devices are the easiest otherwise for normal Remote Access...

Hi Franziska.
Thank you for your reply. Our machines have several ETH/Profinet networks with different addresses. The goal is to find a solution that will enable remote access to these networks (PLC monitoring via the TIA Portal, access to device web servers etc.). I would also like to avoid the need to configure connections on the client side (PC with eCatcher / cmd: route add ...).
Regards.
