Good day to all. 

I believe the 1788EN2PAR from HIPROM tech has been discontinued. 

I did a control system upgrade from version 20 of RSlogix5000 to STUDIO5000 v36.

The AOP for the EN2PAR is installing and opening up in the PLC program v36 but it does not allow me to upload or download. Neither does the scan work. I noticed the AOP has loads of activeX controls in the software and I see that win10 OS does not support much of that anymore. For context the old system ran on win7 without any issues. 

I registered the .ocx and .dll files manually through cmd any they did register but the AOP still does not work correctly.

Iv ran the AOP in compatibility mode but still wont work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Are you perhaps referring to HMS Linking Devices?

  The 1788EN2PAR model doesn’t appear in any of the databases I checked. Here’s a link to our Linking Devices: [HMS Product Finder | Browse Products | HMS Networks|Linking device]. Could you check if your device matches one of ours?

  If you’re using an HMS device, you can find our Add-On Profile (AOP) in the Support and Downloads section. However, please note that our AOP is only compatible with HMS devices, and each device has its own specific configuration requirements. Unfortunately, it won’t work for devices from other vendors.

  If your device doesn’t match one of our linking devices, I recommend contacting your device’s vendor for further support.
