ControlLogix PLC to Lenze i700 drives with Ethernet/IP to EtherCAT gateway
Hi,
I'm experienced at Ethernet/IP but never touched EtherCAT. I need to control some Lenze i700 drives from an Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC and I'm considering the ABC3107-A.
Am I considering the correct variant?
Thanks,
Alistair

Hi Alistair,
Yes, the Anybus ABC3017-A is the correct gateway for this application. The Anybus Communicator EtherCAT MainDevice to EtherNet/IP Adapter enables you to connect EtherCAT devices (slaves) to EtherNet/IP control systems (PLCs/Scanners).
Best Regards,
Kyle

Hi,
I'm using Anybus Communicator (ABC3107-A) to establish communication between a PLC and a servo drive. The servo drive I'm using is an Omron model (R88D-1SN30F-ECT), which operates on EtherCAT communication. The PLC is Allen Bradley CPU (1769-L33ER), which communicates via Ethernet/IP.While communication between the servo drive and PLC has been successfully established, we are currently facing an issue with editing the PDO mapping. I need to edit the PDO mapping but there is no option to edit the PDO in the Anybus Communicator Web UI. Please support us to solve this issue.
