Can a Flexy access an external HTTP site from the LAN?

If a Flexy does not have a WAN card (cell, wifi or otherwise), can it still send an HTTP request out? That is, if I plug my internet facing firewall/router into one of the LAN ports on the flexy, can I issue an HTTP GET from the Basic code?

  It explains how to setup static routing tables so the Flexy knows there are several Networks and which Router to address for which on the LAN side.

  Step 1 and Step 2 should help you. Step 3 does not apply to your situation.
