Scan List Configuration

Hello,

I have a AB7832 Ethernet IP to Profibus X-Gateway. The Profibus side is connected to our PLC and appears to be working. The Ethernet IP side is connected to a Keyence sensor.

I cannot load Anybus's EDS file on the Keyence sensor but I can view Keyence's EDS to understand the assembly structure.

Tell me I'm wrong but I should be able to change the Anybus Gateway's scan list to match that of the Keyence sensor, correct?
If so, I am not able to change the scan list configuration via the website user interface. The option is not available.

  Hi,

  It sounds like you have the wrong device. This Anybus unit is an Ethernet/IP adapter. If the Keyence has an EDS file it sounds like it's an adapter as well. The Anybus you have would require an Ethernet/IP scanner like a PLC to communicate with it.

  The right device for this is likely a AB7671 which is Profibus slave to Ethernet/IP scanner.
