STATUS Tag Help

I have seen on numerous post you can create a STATUS tag for a particular IO server.
Ex:Flexy 205 - Send Notification On IO Server Issue

In the general reference manual 8.3.3 Tag name convention it mentions STATUS tag. I am just unclear on the details of creating this tag, I have tried several options with no prevail. If someone could clarify the steps in creating a new STATUS tag I would greatly appreciate it.

  Hi,

  The status tag is an internal tag to see if the flexy has communication with the device. In tag creation you choose the IO Server that is being used, the topic that was setup, and in the address field type STATUS.

  Here is are document on Setting up IO servers on the Flexy. In the document under your IO server it will mention the status tag.
