Power consumption on a standard device with a 4G card
@anoncgwzebtm
Hi Bruce,
Here's some of the calculations I was doing. For this one I just assumed that the card would be using the maximum amount of current possible for the 4G card.

I also included the data sheet that I was basing these off of.

Tim,
The links have been disabled. Is it possible to see them again? I personally don't believe a 36 AH battery will accommodate a 3 to 4 day period without sun. We are about to install a 100 AH battery. I have a 26 AH battery and can't get 1 day of autonomy. I need 4 days, at a minimum, I assume. We have been down for the last 5 days. We have had overcast days and can't seem to charge a 26 AH battery with a 20 W solar panel. So, am I hearing you correctly? The Flexy device itself in addition to the extension card cannot pull no more than what you show on the spec sheet below? Please resend if you can.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hello Bruce,
I just checked the links and they are both still valid can you try going to the forum post Tim posted them in and try downloading them there. Power consumption on a standard device with a 4G card
Here is the link to the power consumption document hosted on ewon.biz.
Note Tim performed his calculations using the averages. It is possible that your configuration is drawing more power. I would recommend using a power monitor to calculate your actual usage in your application as this will be more accurate.
