Java etk 1.4.4

When it comes to building a custom Java application to run on Flexy JVM whereby the PLC tags can be sent to the Google Firebase/Firestore, I need to add Firebase SDK in Java to my Java application. The Firebase SDK makes building with Gradle quite easier. What I am wondering is that eWON Java etk 1.4.4 is not compatible for IntelliJ Idea.

Is it true?

Any thoughts / recommendations

  Firebase SDK Java Admin seems to be min based on Java 8 (or higher)

  So as written here: Forum Post

  We only support J2SE JVM 1.4 that is lower than Java 8 and not compatible.
