Share 4G internet on WAN port (to Wifi switch for example)
Hi,
We currently use an eWon Flexy 205 for remote access to our LAN through a 4G cellular modem extension card.
In addition, to provide Internet access to operators, I would like to extend this 4G connection through WAN port and to connect either a computer or a Wifi switch. I've declared 1 port top right of the flexy) as WAN. When I connect it to a computer (DHCP) it does not work (the computer is not connected to internet). As far as I understood, shouldn't Flexy behave as WAN switch (as per KB-0065-00 / Rev. 1.0)? Shall I declare Ewon ip address as gateway in the computer?

Hi Eliott,
The WAN port on an Ewon is used to connect the Ewon to the Internet through an Ethernet connection. It isn't used to provide Internet access to WAN devices. However, it is possible to configure the Ewon to provide Internet access to devices on its LAN. You can read more in SSH-0068-00 - Allow Internet access for Ewon Cosy LAN devices.
