Best Way To Duplicate EWON Flexy205 Configuration

Hi. I have an application where we will be using a Flexy205 on a piece of equipment that will be sending information to AWS. The Flexy has configuration to communicate to a Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP device. This will be a standard configuration that will be deployed on many units. I need a way to copy the config(tags, communication, basic scripts, etc.) from one Flexy to the next. I know restoring a backup causes issue with serial numbers. What are my options? Thank you

  Hi,

  You can take the files in the backup named:

  config.txt and program.bas

  and using FTP client like FileZilla to push them to the new Flexy

  or if you want to use eBuddy, remove from the backup the file named comcfg.txt, like this, you will avoid the issue regarding the SN if the backup comes from a Flexy which is already paired with talk2m.

  If it's not the case, no need to remove the comcfg.txt.
