Flexy 205 digital input wiring

Hi, I understand the manual states that DI wiring for flexy 205 should be as follows:
i- : 0Vdc
i1: +10-30Vdc
i2: +10-30Vdc

I am curious if the inputs are bidirectional, meaning the wiring can be opposite:
i- : +10-30Vdc
i1: 0Vdc
i2: 0Vdc

  Hello,

  They are not bidirectional. The i- is the gound which is isolated from the i1 and i2.
