Can connect in tia portal

I've set my ewon cosy up and connected through catcher. I can ping the S7-1500 but when I search for it in tia portal nothings found. I've even tried proneta to check network settings and that doesn't find anything either.

  Hi Mark,

  The discovery function doesn't work by default through the VPN. It's best to use the PLC's IP directly as shown here:

  Why can't TIA Portal find my PLC?

  You can also use the Ewon's built-in Profinet Explorer to check/set the network settings on the PLC.

  You can enable broadcast forwarding for the discovery function to work but it's not recommended since it can consume a lot of traffic and shouldn't be left on. There are instructions here if needed:
