Basic code to send daily SMS reporting current tag value

I have inherited an EWON Flexy set up with a modem extension card which I have no experience of. I have managed to get an alarm set up based on an analogue input but I would like to get an SMS sent every day that reports the current value of the analogue input as well. 

From reading the manual and other support documents, it looks like I have to do this in Basic once I am logged in to the Flexy.

I have very little coding experience and none in Basic. Is there a code example anywhere that I could use to read a tag and send the value in an SMS?

  Hi Izzy!

  Take a look here at the whole post and especialy the last entry using basic is an option if you want to you can also just trigger it with the alarm itself:

  Hi,

  Thanks but I don't want to use the Talk 2M server because of the high ongoing cost. I already have SMS alarms running from my own SIM, I just need BASIC code to pick up the tag for the current value.

  Yes, thanks I have already done that and it is working. The issue I have is with getting the the current value of the analogue input into the SMS. I don't know how to code that bit.
