Bypass a VPN (EWON)

I am using an EWON Cosy+ connected to an Red Lion CR3000 running crimson Gold 3.1 finale build. The Internet connection is always on.

I need the HMI to be able to send SMS and SMTP through the EWON without it being connected via the ecatcher software. Is there a Port or setting that can be enabled that will allow this traffic through the firewall?

  Not familiar with the Ewon side but from the CR3000's perspective,

  SMS is only supported with a modem directly attached to the CR3000 (Expansion Module or via serial connection). Maybe the Talk2m can be used here (again not familiar with that side).

  SMTP, you need to configure the SMTP settings as per normal and either set the default gateway of the CR3000 to the Ewon or add an entry in the routing table so the STMP server address is routed to the Ewon. As long as the Ewon will allow LAN traffic to be routed through it to the internet this should work.
