FTP image transfer through Cosy+ ethernet
Hi everybody,
I'm configuring an FTP image transfer between a Keyence VS-Series Camera (FTP client) to a folder placed in a Panel PC Windows-based (FTP server designed through Filezilla Server).
Keyence Camera and Panel PC are in the same LAN, connected through an Ewon Cosy+ Ethernet, respectively on IP addresses 10.0.0.4 (Keyence Camera, our FTP Client) and 10.0.0.2 (Panel PC, FTP Server).
In our system, Cosy+ acts as a router in a NAT environment, with all components (not only Camera and Panel PC but also PLC and digital I/O module) behind the NAT router.
All the ethernet connections work properly: components exchange data properly by ethernet protocols and can reach the internet.
But the FTP connection between Camera and PanelPC doesn't work.
Resume of our configuration:
1. Cosy + Ethernet: routing LAN-WAN
- NatItf = 2 (NAT and TF on WAN)
- VPNRedirect = 0 (Allow traffic outside the VPN tunnel)
- FwrdToWAN = 1 (Forward LAN traffic to WAN)
- Local IP Address: 10.0.0.53
- WAN IP Address: static, provided by customers
2. Panel PC - Folder as FTP Server (Filezilla Server)
- Local IP Address: 10.0.0.2
- Port: 21
- Public IP: retrieved by Filezilla service (FTP passive mode)
- Firewall: rules to allow inbound traffic through IP addresses, ports and software are managed
3. Keyence Camera:
- Local IP Address: 10.0.0.4
- Target FTP Server: 10.0.0.4 (same problem with public IP)
- FTP Server Port: 21
- FTP Client mode: passive (same problem with active mode)
Result: No response received from 10.0.0.2 (or public IP).
Notice: The camera is an FTP server/client, and we can read without problem the internal folder on the camera, through the Filezilla client on the Panel PC.
We probably have to manage FTP protocol rights in Ewon Cosy+, can someone help me fix the configuration?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mattia!
I will create a Support Ticket for you on this issue.
Please add in the Support-Ticket The Following information:
A Backup of your Cosy+
A Map/ Drawing of your Network
You are not trying to Use A VPN connection to achive An FTP Connection but from the LAN Side of the Cosy to the WAN Side? No Both devices are on different LAN Ports of the Cosy? Please make it clear in the map which Port is configured what and who is were... if they are both on LAN Ports the Cosy+ is just a switch...
Thanks!
Creating your Ticket now.
(you should get an e-mail and you should be able to find it here on the Website when you are logged in. If you have trouble finding it reach out here!)
