    Hi Arno,

Could you please try the following ->

    • Edit the parameters of your TAP adapter
    • Disable all Protocols except "Internet Protocol Version 4" and validate
    • Restart PC and try again.

    Hi Prajnay

I just tried this, but I am still not able to connect to the local devices. Is there something else I could try?

    Thank you,

    Arno

It seems I have found the possible cause. In this picture you can see the faulty Ewon.

Its Ewon lan is 10.0.0.53 whereas in the picture below:

One of our working Ewons is shown. This Ewon has an Ewon LAN of 192.168.0.1 and works perfectly fine. Can I maybe change the Ewon LAN of the faulty Ewon?

    Hi Arno,

Indeed I can see now, The Ewon and PLC are not in the same address hence you are not able to ping it,
You can change the LAN IP via ebuddy

Or you can also use eCatcher then go to your Ewon device properties -> modify Lan subnet and change the LAN IP.

Ok, I did this and can now ping the PLC and Ewon on their LAN ip adresses. I'm still not able to connect to my Keyence controller or ping it though. It is on IP adress 192.168.0.10 so in the same adress.

    Hi Arno,

Could you make sure if the PLC discovery is turned on? PLC discovery through Talk2M (hmsnetworks.blob.core.windows.net)

    Hi

I'm sure it is on, because I can see the PLC here:

Furthermore, I'm not the official owner of the Ewon account, my firm got login credentials on another firm's account (they're the owners and built the machines for us of which our company has access to the ewon's).

This means I do not have sufficient rights to enable PLC discovery:

I enabled BroadcastForwarder inside the ewon embedded website. I'm still not able to connect to the keyence controller though. I'm able to connect to the Beckhoff PLC, the only problem I'm still getting is the Keyence vision controller.
