MQTT connection through Cosy+

I have an MQTT client that I want to put behind a Cosy+. I had thought that if I set up the device to allow for internet access for LAN devices (as described in the document Cosy Network Configuration Allow Internet Access for Cosy LAN Devices SSH-0068-01-EN P)  that it would work as normal, but it doesn't seem to be doing so. Will this still not allow MQTT communication, or is something else the problem?

  Yes, this should work as long as there is a route to MQTT broker. Make sure the default gateway is set on the MQTT client (it should be the Ewon's LAN address).

  Do I use the eWON for DNS as well? Or should I use something else?

  I would recommend using the network router and a public DNS for backup (8.8.8.8, for example).
