Ecatcher V6.10.0 is working OK. V7.0.1 Problem can not find talk2mservice

I installed both versions several times. V6.10.0 is working OK

V7.0.1 has allways problems with service not found. The service is running and the network adapter Talk2m-eCather is alo there.

  For the Error "Talk2m VPN Service cannot be found" you can try the Workaround described in this Document:

  What to do if you face the error "Talk2m VPN Service cannot be found" when opening Ecatcher – HMS Support Portal (hms-networks.com)

  And/Or if possible check your Antivirus software.

  I am now using V6.10 without any problems. for now it is OK for me.

  Hi Ad,
  I’m still seeing the same issue on Windows 10 with eCatcher 7.x (“Talk2M VPN Service cannot be found”) even though the service and adapter are correctly installed.
  Since you mentioned 6.10.0 works fine for you, do you still happen to have the MSI installer for that version? I can’t seem to find it anymore.

  I still use the version 6.10 in Windows 11 also. I do not understand why, but my collegues use V7.x without a problem. I still have the installer. How do i get to you ?

  End of 2027 CRA updates approach and version 5.1.0 can't connect any longer for example... but it also might still work after that to use the old version.

  I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the above error but ARM Based Computers /Tablets are not supported by the TAP adapter of us. But i think it would be a different error then...
