Anybus xGateway AB7831-F in Studio5000

I have an Anybus xGateway AB7831-F that I am using as an intermediary between a National instruments cRIO 8055 and an Allen Bradley 1769-L30ER. I have successfully sent data from the cRIO to the AB PLC using the how two guide on the HMS website for this module.  However when I try to write date from the AB PLC to the cRIO, the AB message block errors out with error code 16#000c and message of "Cannot perform requested service in current mode or state".

  To close this out, after working with HMS support, we were able to get the EDS file working and I am able to address the module properly via tags instead of using the MSG block.  I was never able to get the MSG write block to work.
