    Hi Dave,

    If you use two Wireless Bridges II OR two Bolts OR one AWB II and one Bolt in the tunnel Mode you can transfer even Broadcast Ethernet Frames.

    So you can also tansfer Ethercat frames.
    But Ethercat networks use very stict deterministic timing. The setup is a Line Network and as a very low jitter.

    All this is not possible over a wifi connection. So if you sent Ethercat over a wifi connection you loose most of the advantages of Ethercat
    One could maybe use the "transparent Ethernet channel" inside Ethercat to communicate some parameters without this affecting the rest of the Network.

    We do not recommend using Ethercat over a Wireless Communication Network.
