22703 esock-Socket function returned error

Trying to get an eWON COSY 141 set up on a factory floor, but it doesn't seem to be able to connect to the Talk2m service. The internet connection is good, and I'm told by the company's IS department that it is completely open access. However I get these errors on the COSY:

It may also be worth noting that eCatcher doesn't work through this internet connection either. Tested on this PC as working from my office. Same with the eWON.

Are you able to get an internet connection from that cable in general?
If so, does the eWON pass the internet wizard test with "test online address' enabled?

Yes. I'm actually using that connection right now to post this.

I just checked and eCatcher from this connection works through forced TCP. Is this at all relevant to the problem I'm having?

I changed VPNPortOut to 443, and VPNProto to 1 to force the COSY to use TCP instead of UDP, and it is now working. I prefer UDP, but obviously that is an issue I need to take up with the end user's IS department.

Yes, if you have internet to the device and it can pass the online test (no IP conflict) then forcing TCP could (like it has) resolve your issue because the network is only allowing an openVPN tunnel over TCP port 443.
