This Article shows you what you can do if your MAPS-configured Gateway is no longer reachable after an IP Address change via MAPS and what the possible cause is.

ISSUE / QUESTION / SYMPTOM
After downloading the Configuration via the MAPS software to the Gateway it is no longer reachable via Ethernet.
POSSIBLE CAUSES / ANSWER
Please check if you have entered anything in the Default Gateway field. If yes, please make sure that the IP address entered is really a gateway with routing capacities (e.g. a router). If this is not the case, please empty the field.
For devices with a USB port, please connect to the gateway via this port in order to download the changed configuration.
For devices without a USB port, please perform a factory reset and then download the configuration.
