Ewon devices using cellular connection (Cosy, Flexy)
What does mean "Ewon Status ONLINE (skipped OFFLINE)" in eCatcher logs ?
First of all, this message only appears for Ewon devices connected through a cellular (3G,4G) connection.
There's a communication parameter in your Ewon called "Maximum outgoing call duration" or "MaxCallDur". By default, it is set to 60 min.
It defines the maximum amount of time of the outgoing call with the operator's network.
When this amount of time is reached, then the eWON stops the modem communication (and immediately restart it).
This is because some operators do not like that a device stays connected for a too long time period, so the connection is restarted to avoid the device from being kicked out.
This process leads to a very quick disconnection-reconnection of the Ewon. This is why you see this "skipped OFFLINE" message.
