If there is a DHCP server on the network, the Intesis Gateway will be able to receive the IP address automatically. If the computer is on the same network, the Intesis gateway will be shown in the Intesis MAPS software.
If there is no DHCP server on the network, the gateway’s IP address will be “0.0.0.0” and it will not be reachable.
There are two solutions to reset the IP address if it is not possible to reach the gateway.
- Connecting via USB Cable
- Factory reset
Connecting via USB Cable
- Connect with a USB cable (if there is a USB port on the gateway).
- Disable DHCP.
- Set a new IP address manually
If there is no USB port on the gateway, it is necessary to reset the configuration to the factory settings. It can be done like following
