SET THE DI1Cfg PARAMETER
The DI1Cfg parameter controls the Cosy's behavior based on the state of digital input 1. Depending on this parameter's setting, digital input 1 can disable either Internet or VPN access, and it can also send an SMS and/or email notification when the input becomes active. To configure SMS and/or email notifications, click Wizards at the top right of your Cosy's web interface, then select DI Config on the right.
To configure Internet control through digital input 1:
- Connect to the Ewon Cosy's web interface and log in as an admin
- Navigate to Setup -> System -> Storage -> Tabular edition -> Edit COM cfg
- Search for the parameter DI1Cfg
Fig 1. Navigating to the DI1Cfg parameter - Double click next to this parameter in the Value column
- Change the value to 1, for Internet control
- If DI1 was already configured to send SMS and/or email, add 1 to the current value
- If DI1 was already configured to control the VPN connection, leave the value as it is. It's not possible to control the Internet connection and VPN connection at the same time.
- Reboot the Ewon to apply the change
