ANSWER
The following in- and outbound ports are reserved for use by PROFINET. Make sure these ports are not blocked by your firewall or packet filter software, especially when using the PC based PROFINET Master Simulator.
UDP 34962 (PROFINET RT Unicast)
UDP 34963 (PROFINET RT Multicast)
UDP 34964 (PROFINET RPC Context Manager)
UDP 53247 (PROFINET RPC client/server)
Cyclic I/O process data exchange is sent directly on Ethernet layer II with Ethertype 0x8892 (PROFINET DCP and PROFINET I/O). Furthermore, Ethertype 0x88E3 is used for MRP (media redundancy protocol).
