Ethernet Connection to FlexEdge Device
FlexEdge Device web server setup for remote connection. How to Access the Web GUI of the FlexEdge – HMS Support Portal
IN THIS ARTICLE
Article will outline the details on how to use the Crimson Console to ping another network device.
To troubleshoot a network connection, you may want to use your FlexEdge device to ping another device on your network.
These are the steps needed to accomplish that.
Step 1 – Login to your FlexEdge device using a web browser. In my example my IP address for my DA70 is 192.168.1.30. I enter that into my web browser to navigate to that device.
I get a login page shown here.
Step 2- After logging in I get this page.
Step 3- Click Diagnostics, then Crimson Console
Step 4- You get this page. At the bottom of the page click where it says “help” and you can use the ping command.
Step 5- My G12 has an IP address of 192.168.1.20. I enter that into the box at the bottom of the page and press enter. If the device can communicate with my DA70 I get the response shown in the screenshot.
Step 6-If the devices can't communicate you get the response shown below.
If your devices are not communicating, you would need to troubleshoot your network connections. You can find an article for that here Troubleshooting Crimson Communications: Ethernet – HMS Support Portal
