| TERR | Error Value for Read of RTDn |
| CERR | Bits 23–16 = Command #, 11–0 = Error # |
| WNAK | NAK on Write Command # |
General Caution
For commands with resolution selections, increasing the resolution results in slower update times. Lower resolution improves efficiency.
The driver checks for slow responses for 250 ms intervals before returning control to the system. [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
Command Programming and Usage
PROD, INTF, TAVG
Select the desired number of decimal positions via the dialog box. [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
TID0, TID1, TID2
Select the required resolution and RTD number via the dialog box. [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
FTMP
- FTMP0 = fast average temperature
- FTMP1–FTMP5 = RTD1–RTD5 temperatures at 1-degree resolution [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
QFR
- 1 = number of floats
- 2 = number of RTDs
- 3 = both as a 16-bit word (upper = floats, lower = RTDs)
Example: 2 floats, 4 RTDs →0x204[g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
GRCV
Reads/writes Gradient Control Variable (format: n.ddddd). [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
FZP
Two float zero positions, independently readable/writable (3 decimal places). [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
RTDP
Up to five RTD positions, independently readable/writable (1 decimal place). [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
Special Commands
TERR
- Returns error number for RTDn read
- Sets TIDx value based on error:
- -9999 → Out of Range Low (203) or RTD Shorted (208)
- 9999 → other errors
- No error → TERRn = 0
- Can reset TERRn by writing 0 [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
CERR
- Upper 16 bits = command number
- Lower 16 bits = error code
- Reset by writing 0 [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
WNAK
- Same format as CERR for write errors
- Check after write operations
- Reset by writing 0 [g3-mtsddamaster | Word]
