No Communication?
- Verify Ethernet cable connection and link status
- Check IP address and subnet match between devices
- Confirm correct UDP port configured in driver
- Ensure PLC is powered and communication enabled
- Ping PLC to verify network connectivity
Connection Established but No Data?
- Verify correct memory addressing (X, Y, V, etc.)
- Confirm correct PLC type selected
- Check address range is valid
- Ensure PLC program is running
Intermittent or Unstable Communication?
- Inspect cable quality and connectors
- Check for network congestion or switch issues
- Verify proper grounding and shielding
- Confirm stable power to PLC
Incorrect Data or Values?
- Verify correct register mapping
- Check data type (bit vs word)
- Confirm byte/word interpretation
- Validate scaling or engineering units
Write Works but No Effect?
- Confirm register supports write operations
- Verify correct command/value format
- Check value range is valid
- Ensure proper timing between write requests
Timeout or No Response Errors?
- Increase timeout settings
- Reduce polling rate
- Check for duplicate IP or address conflicts
- Verify PLC not overloaded
PLC Not Responding Properly?
- Restart PLC and communication interface
