Accessing Data

Crimson allows entry of Instruction Codes 20H – FFH. Definition of each Instruction Code is dependant upon the FlowCom Instrument device configuration and/or programming. Please note string arrays are not fully compatible with this driver.

Read Operations

All string tags associated with read operations should be set to a length of 80 characters. If using string arrays to divide a string in to sub strings, the arrays read policy should be set to “Read Whole Array”.

Write Operations

All write only operations should be assigned to a tag designated as such. It is always good practice to clear a string before writing a similar string.
