This tech note will address the CTL3D32.dll error fix when trying to launch Crimson 2.0 or 2.1 after upgrading to Windows 11

Downloaded copy of Crimson 2.0 or 2.1
Computer with Windows 11
Please note, you will be working with a Windows system file that might require Admin access. If that is the case, please contact your IT department.
IN THIS ARTICLE
Follow the below steps to replace the CTL3D32.dll file required for Crimson 2.x.
- Open two tabs with Windows file explorer.
- Search the Windows C: drive for the CTL3D32.dll file in tab one.
- Right click, and copy the CTL3D32.dll file and then paste into the Windows system file below.
- Search for C:\windows\sysWOW64 in tab two of file explorer.
- Paste a copy of CTL3D32.dll file into the C:\windows\sysWOW64 directory.
- Close file explorer and launch Crimson 2.x
